Your contenders

Amit Lodha vs. Kate Howitt

Amit is a heavyweight in the global equities arena. As a member of the highly regarded global equities team at Fidelity, Amit brings a wealth of knowledge to the debate.


Amit joined Fidelity as a research analyst in our Mumbai office in 2002. In 2007, Amit joined the analyst team in London and in 2008 he was appointed portfolio manager of the Fidelity Global Industrials Fund. He now manages a range of global equities
funds, including the Fidelity Global Equities Fund for Australian clients.


Amit has a Masters degree and is a CFA. In his spare time he reads libraries of books and soothes his new-born daughter to sleep reciting the latest market theories.

Kate Howitt's match fitness is unquestioned. She joined Fidelity in 2004 and was quickly promoted to portfolio manager to manage Australian equities portfolios.


In her diverse career, Kate has worked for management for both multi-nationals and small start-ups in Australia, the UK and US. She has consulted to a wide range of industries from airlines to food manufacturing. Kate became a professional money manager in 2002 and has managed highly performing Australian equities portfolios for AMP and Fidelity.


Kate has an MBA from the University of Chicago where she received the Dean's Award. In her spare time, she plays Monopoly with her children.
